A New Rhythm | Slow Living and Motherhood in Northern Finland – VIDEO

By my count, it's been 96 days since I was last here. Since I uploaded my last video.

I spent the whole summer away from the camera, away from social media, and away from all the noise that comes with it.

It did me a world of good.

But now it's time to come back. And I'm not coming back alone.

While I was away, we became a family, and I became a mother. We welcomed our newest little family member in May. For now, we lovingly call her our little bear, especially here in this digital world.

The summer has been all about getting to know each other and settling into a new rhythm of life. While much of the world seems to have been caught in relentless heat waves, it's been a surprisingly cool summer here in northern Finland. We've all been wrapped in wool almost every day, and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.

In this video, I'm sharing a glimpse of our new everyday life and everything this new season has brought with it. We even managed to take our traditional summer van trip. Something that felt a little daunting at first with such a tiny baby.

Spoiler alert: it went wonderfully. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

It's so good to be back. And thank you for being here, too. ❤️

🖤 Sanna
